Why the Global Academic Rankings Are Phony and its Framework Still Unapologetic?

The recent bombing near the historic Red Fort has once again illuminated the pervasive anti-military academic culture that exists not only in Bharat but resonates as a troubling phenomenon worldwide. This alarming trend is further complicated by the questionable global academic rankings that seemingly celebrate the very anti-military stance taken by these institutions. Curiously, the criteria used in these ranking indices overlook a significant factor—the number of terrorists, anti-social elements, scamsters and fraudsters that these academic organizations inadvertently produce and contribute to society. As a result, the value of these dubious academic rankings is critically called into question, revealing a strikingly unapologetic attitude towards the repercussions of such a skewed evaluation system. The reality is that these rankings do little to genuinely reflect the moral and ethical responsibilities of educational institutions in shaping a safer and more accountable world.

Therefore, relying on these rankings to make informed decisions about choosing an institution feels like deliberately perching atop a mound of explosives, ready to detonate at any moment. Such a questionable foundation, built upon a fundamentally flawed ranking framework, has the potential to devastate careers, undermining the aspirations of countless students who trust these assessments to guide their futures. The inherent risks involved in prioritizing these misleading evaluations could easily lead to disastrous outcomes, jeopardizing not only individual ambitions but also the broader integrity of educational landscape.

This leads to the conclusion that academic rankings are primarily driven by a desire to generate profits, bearing little to no relation to the actual performance and quality of the institutions involved. Rather than serving as a genuine measure of educational excellence or student achievement, these rankings only reflect commercial interests and business marketability.
